Hong Kong International Woodball Championship 2024

The PLKVKTC Woodball Team was established in 2022 and currently consists of 15 active members who are dedicated to achieving excellence in this sport, which shares similarities with golf in terms of equipment and rules. Recently, they participated in the Hong Kong International Woodball Championship 2024, which took place on 27/4 and 28/4 at the prestigious Hong Kong Golf Club.

It was an exhilarating experience for the team as 13 members registered for various events and had the opportunity to compete on the beautiful golf course. Throughout the two days of competition, the team showcased their skills and determination, resulting in brilliant performances and valuable lessons learned.

In particular, Cheung Yi (6D) displayed exceptional talent and secured the bronze medal in the Women's Youth Single Stroke competition. Another outstanding performance came from You Tsz Him (6C), who achieved an impressive 6th place in the Men's Youth Single Stroke Competition. Both Cheung Yi and You Tsz Him are current members of the Hong Kong Youth Team and proudly represented Hong Kong in the 12th Woodball Asian Cup held in Zhejiang, China in October 2023.

With these remarkable achievements, the PLKVKTC Woodball Team remains committed to moving forward and striving for even greater success, all while representing the school with pride and determination.
